Bleach Chibis (2nd edition)

My very first Yumichika and Ikkaku plushies! I normally don't make props for chibis, but the 11th division requires swords. o_0 I wanted to make Yumi's new look...but I don't think there are any colour refs out yet. For Rangiku, I probably should have also waited for better refs, but I really wanted to make her new look. I love her new hair! It makes her look youthful.

Dear Aizen, how I hate you and your cocky smirk. But I'm very tempted to make 'shipper aizen'... maybe in the future.

For Soifon, I really loved her battle agaisnt Yoruichi, so I chose that outfit. Her face turned out really well! I think this chibi pattern really flatters any character with straight bangs.

For Ichigo...I was debating between Mugetsu and his FGT look...I settled on the latter since he's more bishie that way. The sword and chain are a bit delicate, so he's really not a plush suited for kids. Same goes for Ishida... the bow's quite delicate. I didn't plan on making his 'Letzt Stil' outfit, but after making Mayuri and rewatching their battle, he was just too cool! I had to make him, even though it was quite tedious.

And that concludes my Bleach Madness for now. I still have a few more projects (like that Nell WIP, and I've already completed an Ulqui-first-release form)...but I really must get started on my con merch for Anime North. The rest of Bleach Madness will resume in June (I'm sure draggin this, lol). I might make more chibis, so feel free to suggest more characters! Cheers.
