Once again, there is NO file to download!!! The tutorial can be found here: [link]

I promised a hair tutorial, and it was very difficult to organise my thoughts on the matter. My technique is very chaotic, and nearly impossible to explain.

It's pretty much a summary of what I've been doing. The rest is up to you to figure out!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I hope it helps! :peace:

Hello! :D
I wanna make a plushie of Bill Kaulitz, from Tokio Hotel: [link] [link]
So how exactly would I manage to do his hair? It looks really, really difficult... :XD:

I've made Bill before...[link]
He's not that hard; it's just a lot of layers. Get a good ref (which you have) and look how the spikes are placed. :)

Yeah, I saw yours not too long ago. I really like it! :D
And I did kinda figure his hair out myself a few days ago, haha. I think I pretty much know what to do now. :meow:

Hi~! I need advice on something... I want to make this guy [link] as a plushie and I was thinking of using "shag fur" for the hair. This is the first time I'm making a plushie though, so would that be a bad idea? What would you recommend?

Shag fur can work! Check out my Godot plush...I used shag fur, and they've both got spiky hair. I just don't really know what to do for the bangs cuz I've never tried, but I know it's possible because of this: [link]
Also, be sure that the plush's head is proportionate to the hair's lenght...cuz if you make the head too big, the hair strands might be too short. ^^; Good luck!

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I make amigurumi (crochet) dolls, and crocheting the hair doesn't give the right sharp angles for anime hair.
You are awesome!!! :D

I'm looking at getting away from using felt, for something more washable. Any suggestions? :)

Velboa is a nice fuzzy, sturdy fabric..but it's expensive and not as easy to find. I think the best would be to sew pieces of deersuede/craft velour, with some interfacing in between, to give it a little more weight... but that'd work for only some types of hair (i.e the ones with larger strands, or chunky hair).
